- LONDON AFFORDABLE ART FAIR 2011 Thursday 20th - Sunday 23rd October. I exhibited again this year with the New British Artists, it was my fourth time there, always a high light of my year papier maché wise. - WINCHESTER HANDMADE ART FAIR July 10th 2011 at the Guildhall in Winchester. I will be sharing a stall with my sis Lisa again, we are testing the waters to see how a summer stall goes. This will be the last shared stall so come now if you want to see us together in full twin action. .
- SOUTHWARK STUDIOS OPEN WEEKEND Friday 24th - Sunday 26th June 2011. As part of the Open Studios and Art weekend in Southwark, my papier maché dogs and cats and various Birds on Biscuits will be exhibited at Southwark Studios: http://www.southwarkstudios.com/.
- JANUARY 2011 WORK IN PROGRESS: I am working on more Birds and Biscuits and some new dogs, also taking time out to plan what I am going to make for more craft fairs next year. I am planning to do more fairs in the Summer and Christmas 2011, watch this space for more news. I have a couple of papier maché commissions that I am about to start working on, if anyone wants to commission me for papier maché or illustrations please feel free to get in contact via the contact section. I am excited about the working year ahead, after 2 years of keeping things ticking over while my daughter demanded the majority of my time, I am looking forward to spending more time making things, painting and drawing.
- WALLY THE WHIMBREL BOOK for Natural England. It is my first illustrated book for children. It is not for general release but was distributed to the school children of Yorkshire in Spring 2011 to educated them about bird ringing and the migratory habits of the Whimbrel. It is a wading bird similar to a curlew that has been stopping over in a nature reserve in the Derwent Valley in Yorkshire on its route from Africa back to its breeding grounds in Iceland. there are 3 pictures from the book in my illustration section. It is all very exciting, I am so pleased to see my first illustrated book in print.
- Handm@de CRAFT FAIR, WINCHESTER Saturday 13th November 2010. The picture to the right shows part of my stall at this fair.
- AFFORDABLE ART FAIR LONDON 2010 I exhibited and sold some of my Papier Maché Pets and Birds on Biscuits with the Gallery New British Artists at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park, October 21-24 2010.
- ART BOOT SALE AT THE KUBE GALLERY, PARKSTONE, POOLE I displayed for sale some of my smaller papier maché items, knitted Christmas cards and papier maché decorations at the Christmas Art Boot Sale on Saturday 28th November 2009. I had a joint stall with my twin sister Lisa who displayed for sale her Cheery Deary felt creations and also cards and prints. It was a fun day though the foot-fall could have been better!
- AFFORDABLE ART FAIR LONDON 2009 I exhibited and sold some of my Papier Maché Pets and Birds on Biscuits with the Gallery New British Artists at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park, October 22-25. I also exhibited my papier maché at the fair in October 2008.
- CAMBRIDGE ART FAIR 2009 I exhibited my Papier Maché Pets and Birds on Biscuits with the Gallery New British Artists at the Cambridge Art Fair at Chilford Hall Vineyard on 5-7th June 2009.
- ARTWEEKS 2008: CANVAS WOOD PAPER & SAND I participated in Artweeks 2008 with 3 other artists in Cowley. I exhibited my papier maché and produced many new items for the event, mainly with a theme of British wildlife as well as exhibiting my Papier mache animals from the Zoo-Illogical and some of my prints and pictures. This was the first time I exhibited the Birds on Biscuits which I created for this event.
- SPOON RACE 2007 The Spoon Race was an art project to celebrate 1000 years of Oxfordshire's history. I made a wooden spoon into a lady called Dervorguilla of Galloway who was one of the founders of Balliol College. The spoons were exhibited in groups at various venues in Oxfordshire, and culminated in the entire collection being exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art Oxford in September 2007.
