Croydon Airport Print. De Havilland Heron, airport terminal, Air traffic control tower, BE2Caeroplanes United Kingdom

£18.00
This illustration is a pen & ink drawing of Croydon Airport, which I scanned and added colour and graphic details to in Adobe Photoshop

I sometimes go to a craft fair at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon and I wanted to make a print of some local history to sell there. I stayed in a hotel near the airport buildings and visitor centre the first time I went there and did some research, being amazed at another really interesting slice of recent history.

The prints are 10x8 inches and they have a backing of mount board and there is a card mount on top, ready to be put into a 10x8 inch frame. The frame is not included. It is protected by a wrapping of biodegradable cellophane.

These prints are digital prints, printed using my Canon Pixma Pro 200 which is a high quality inkjet printer which uses 8 colour dye inks for enhanced colour representation and higher black density. I print onto Epson archival matte photographic paper so the print should not change for many years, though it is dependant on it not facing any extreme conditions such as continual full sunlight or dampness.
