Small ceramic bowl fired in a raku kiln with a metal and crackle glaze
It is hand-build from a gritty clay called crank clay. I carved some of the edges to give the effect of the Japanese ceramic Kurinuki technique which I really like.
I then glazed it with a raku glaze. It is not food safe as it is not fired at a high enough temperature. Just for dry materials.
