Small, striped, hand-made, glazed ceramic sculpture of a tree hare, metallic effects from raku firing
£25.00
sold out
Small, glazed, hand-made ceramic sculpture of a creature I call a Tree Hare.
I made them in small batches of 4-5 at a time and they are all individual and I have used them to experiment with glazes.
It is made from a gritty clay called crank clay, which I moulded and carved arms and ears into, and added details with a pottery tool.
I glazed it with a raku glaze that gave it a metallic effect when fired in a raku kiln.
It is useful as a ring holder.
