Winston’s Journey

This book was commissioned by Natural England for education use in school around the Lower Derwent Valley in Yorkshire.

The brief was to create characters that the children could engage with, to learn about how whimbrels had been stopping off at a local wildlife reserve on their migratory path between Iceland and West Africa.
